In March of 2021 A Bigger Canvas had the pleasure of working with STATE OF PLAY by Sally Munro] and to produce this live stream for BAR Studio] during Melbourne Design Week.

Well it certainly takes a village to raise a one-hour livestream discussion! We learnt so much in putting this event together for Melbourne Design Week and we’ve been able to work with some fantastic collaborators, expanding the horizons of our own collaborative design village!

Thanks to ALL the BAR Studio crew that so generously helped out, as well as Amira Morgan for your continued enthusiasm and coordination, Space Furniture for the chairs, Suzy Annetta (editor-in-chief of Design Anthology) for moderating, artists Geoff Nees, Valerie Sparks and Robert Bridgewater for your engaging conversations, and State of Play, Pot Plant Productions & A Bigger Canvas for running such a smooth & professional production!

In 2021 we helped the inspirational Nadia Levett set up a remote podcasting studio for her project My Unknown Truth, a series sharing stories and experiences of Australians who have been through the adoption system. With our help, Nadia is able to record, edit and publish her own interviews as she and her family spend the year traveling around Australia in their caravan.
