WHAT IS THE COUCH OUTLOUD? The Couch Outloud is a live talk show that will surprise you, take you on an adventure and open your mind. It is an experience that provides a glimpse into the lives of those that make the Gold Coast a remarkable city. We aim the spotlight on our artists, leaders and change makers who are the generat

ors of Gold Coast culture. You will see, hear and feel why the people on the Couch do what they do. A modern talk show that has a host, guest interviews, audience participation, comedy bits, and live performances. Each show is 2 - 3 hours with pre-show show and/or post-performance. We encourage the audience to stay and mingle with the guests and each other in hope to create new connections and movement towards a more culturally diverse city. Gold Coast local Michelle Drumbrell launched the show in 2016. Since its conception the vision was to provide a platform that encourages conversations that can influence the way people view and interact within their community. Our vision is to contribute to the perspective that Gold Coast City is a place to push new boundaries in creativity, discourse and discovering what is possible. We believe that the more people that plug in locally and contribute to the community we all thrive in, the more fun we will have. Essentially, the Couch Outloud is all about bringing the community together in a fantastic way celebrating our great minds, talent and contributions.
