New Arts opportunity for Artists near and around the Sunshine Coast

***PAID ARTS OPPORTUNITY***
Are you an artist looking for a project during this COVID-19 isolation? Do you love Oscar Wilde? Here at
ShakeQUEER we had to postpone an upcoming event because of COVID-19 called A Wilde Night but instead of
letting it get us down, we have shifted gears.

We invite you to participate in a creative development in Isolation called WILDE live. 'WILDE Live' an online
arts presentation of the acts of A Wilde Night. WILDE Live will be presented through an online meeting sharing
site called ZOOM where we will invite other artists, VIPs, Mentors, and other selected audiences to provide
feedback on the acts before doing a full presentation of A Wilde Night (an immersive arts celebration of Oscar Wilde) once this crisis has passed.

Who we are looking for:
Live performers, actors, dancers, burlesque, cabaret, puppets, circus performers, performance artists, visual
artists, etc.

The best part is that thanks to the Sunshine Coast Council and the Queensland Government through their regional arts development fund every artist will receive a small payment of $300.

The Divine Appeal of Medea is an theatre experience where audiences explores the world and make their own opinions on this retelling of Euripides’s ancient Greek tragedy Medea. Salted Pineapple Productions debut performance is a physically visceral and timely look at this ancient woman. Combining a new script, parts of Euripides original work, and beautifully choreographed movement witness Medea taking back her story.
