2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣: We had a baby boy (no.5) and relocated to the Sunshine Coast.

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣: Whilst in solitude we revised the brand and vision of our social enterprise

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣: Mick signs a contract with Harry Potter And The Cursed Child production and relocates to Melbourne. 🧙🏾‍♂️ Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣: Karinda opens her dance company, Coolum Physie Club (CPC) 🌺 Coolum Physie Club

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣: Physie is thriving. Mick concludes his theatre journey with the cursed child.

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣: Albeit the focus shift due to external events, what remains within each individual is the adherence to the Kayin Compass; the key cornerstone in who we are and what we do in our everyday lives.

Every one of us experience changes in our lives. No doubt about that. These challenges are placed in our path to test our strength, our character, and our willingness to live a great life.⁣

For the past decade, we have had to face many changes in our family dynamic. Many disruptions to our daily lives that have been caused by unforeseen circumstances, or simply because, we chose to.⁣
⁣
What makes it worthwhile is our 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with each other. The 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 we provide to be 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, to 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 our 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, to 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 and, to 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 in each other.⁣
⁣
Change happens for the greater good. We as individuals are always scared of giving things a go. But collectively, as a family, we are more than that. We are 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘 and 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗢𝗨𝗦.⁣

Our mission is to reconnect and restore balance within any individual, family or group.

In our relationship, we’ve had to overcome our cultural barriers in order to understand each other a lot better.

Through our work, we apply the same teachings, with cultural elements, to allow children the same space to learn & understand each other’s differences.

We certainly didn’t think we’d see through 2020 the way we had planned it at the beginning of the year?

Far from it.

After all, no plan has ever been achieved without a few adjustments along the way.

Bottom line is, it’s not the destination but the process of the journey that is far more important than anything else.

It’s taken us a great deal of time and effort to get to where we are both mentally and physically. We got uncomfortable. We felt pain and fatigue. We had to push through all the emotional threshold and cultural barriers.

What’s been truly amazing this year has been the time we got to enjoy with each other. Being in each moment allowed us to be fully present and engaged with ourselves and our children.

2020 has been a curve ball. No doubt about that. But it gave us the opportunity to make few adjustments to our daily lives and achieve a lot more than what we had originally planned.

Thank you to all those who have assisted in our growth. We are forever grateful for your love and generosity.
