Little Wings Viewing Week ✨

What a joy it was to welcome our Little Wings families into the studio during the last week of term!

Our tiny dancers were so excited to show Mum, Dad and their special grown ups everything they have been learning in class.
We love Viewing Week because it gives our parents a window into what really happens in class. It's a chance to see the skills, routines and imaginative play your little one has been working on, and to notice just how much they have grown from term to term.

For our littlest dancers, progress looks like joining in with confidence, following instructions, making new friends and discovering a love of movement. Watching those moments unfold is one of our very favourite parts of the year.

Thank you to all of our Little Wings families for joining us. Your dancers were so proud to have you there!

Noosa Spring Dance Festival ✨

A huge congratulations to our Sapphire dancers on their performances last weekend!

We have been so proud to watch these dancers grow in confidence, maturity and skill throughout the year. The hard work they have poured into their training truly shone through on stage, with clean, polished performances they should be incredibly proud of.

What makes us proudest, though, is how they got there. They have supported each other as a team, shown beautiful sportsmanship and brought a wonderful work ethic to every rehearsal. That is the real achievement. 🤍

In a large field and a very high standard of competition, their placings were the cherry on top of an amazing journey:
🥇 Sapphire Lyrical: 1st Place
🥈 Sapphire Jazz: 2nd Place
🌟 Sapphire Jazz: Highly Commended

Thank you to to our wonderful families for your trust and support. We couldn't do it without you.

Little Wings | Little Listeners, Big Learning 🌸

Did you know our Little Wings classes do so much more than teach dance? 🩰

Every class is thoughtfully designed to help little ones build the skills they'll need for school and beyond. In our Little Wings classes, every game, song and dance is an opportunity for little ones to practise listening carefully and following instructions, two of the most important skills for starting school.

Our nurturing teachers create a safe, gentle space where every child feels encouraged and celebrated, helping little ones feel confident, settled and ready for their first day of school or kindy 🖤

What a beautiful evening together! Thank you to every family who came along and filled our studio with so much love, laughter and joy 🤍

From cosy movie watching and yummy pizza to a dance party, it was a night full of fun, friendship and memories made ✨

Moments like these remind us what our TDA family is all about. Community, connection and friendships that grow both inside and outside the studio walls.

At TDA, we believe learning never stops, and that includes our team

Miss Hannah recently attended a personal and professional development conference, where she was so happy to run into one of her wonderful mentor, Amanda from Dance Principals United. 🖤

Having a mentor who challenges, supports and inspires you is such a gift. Amanda has helped shape so much of how we run our studio, from the way we care for our students and families to the culture we build with our teaching team.

Just as we encourage our dancers to keep growing, learning and asking questions, we hold ourselves to the same standard. Every conference, course and conversation brings fresh ideas back into our classes, so your child is learning from a team that is always striving to be better. 🖤

Nurture Growth and Learning is one of our core studio values, and it starts with us

LIGHT UP THE STAGE 🖤✨
A few weeks ago, our incredible Troupe & Soloist dancers took to the stage at Light Up The Stage, and we couldn’t be prouder of them!

A huge congratulations to all of our dancers for their performances.

Sapphire Troupe Classical - 1st place
Bowie Classical Solo - 2nd place
Darcy Jazz Solo - 2nd place
Sapphire Troupe Lyrical - 2nd place
Sapphire Troupe Jazz - 3rd place

But beyond the results, one of our favourite things to see was the way our dancers showed up for one another. From cheering each other on to celebrating each other’s achievements, they demonstrated such beautiful support, encouragement and sportsmanship. 🖤

The dedication, focus and hours of hard work behind the scenes are what make these moments so special. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and the dancers you are continuing to become.
