The Red Scarlet Honey Eater

They’re only about 9–10 cm long, making them one of Australia’s smallest honeyeaters. Their diet is mainly nectar, but they also eat tiny insects and spiders, especially when feeding chicks.
Perfectly built for flowers
They have a slender, curved bill designed to reach deep into blossoms like eucalyptus, bottlebrush and grevillea.
They are always on the move Scarlet Honeyeaters are nomadic, travelling long distances to follow flowering plants rather than sticking to one territory year-round. Fast and feisty and despite their size, they’re known to chase off much larger birds from good feeding spots.

Two baby monkeys in Bali with one reaching out to pat a puppy 😍 Monkeys are such an incredible animal, so much personality, cheek and emotion! The puppy had snuck into the monkey Forrest he definitely is not supposed to be in there but he’s just out learning how the world works… as most of us are 🤙🏼
