At Once Upon a Party Events, we help take the stress out of birthday parties by keeping the kids entertained from start to finish.

We offer fully hosted parties with games, music and dancing, as well as a range of fun activities including:
• Face painting
• Glitter tattoos
• Balloon twisting
• Mermaid hair extensions
• Slime making parties
• Plaster painting

Our entertainers attend in costume as fairies, princesses, mermaids, superheroes and more! Making the experience feel extra special for the kids.

At Once Upon a Party Events we can take care of the whole party for you! With party games, music, dancing and prizes we take all the pressure off parents and keep the kids engaged from start to finish.

We also offer additional activities including face painting, slime making, beading station, mermaid hair, extensions, balloon twisting and glitter tattoos.

All of our entertainers attend in full costume, from fairies and princesses to mermaids and superheroes making the experience feel extra special for the kids.

We’re Hiring!

Casual Children’s Entertainer – Weekend Work (Sunshine Coast)

Once Upon a Party Events is looking for a fun, reliable team member to join our growing children’s entertainment business.

This is very casual, occasional weekend work (with some school holiday opportunities), perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and being part of birthday parties and special events.

Role includes:
• Hosting children’s birthday parties
• Entertaining at community, corporate and family events
• Face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, slime, craft and beading activities
• Assisting with event setup and pack down

You must have:
• A current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• A valid Blue Card
• Confidence interacting with children and parents
• A bubbly, outgoing personality
• Reliability and strong communication skills
• A well presented appearance
• Confidence working independently

Experience in childcare, events, performance or hospitality is a bonus but not essential. Training can be provided for the right person.
