Things have been a bit quiet while I was working on a secret passion project for a milestone birthday. The "Jailhouse Rock" quilt was months in the making as recognition of my mother-in-law's lifelong adoration of Elvis Presley. This is a matriarch who is full of tenacity, good humour and a love of life which has seen her make many worthy achievements. I see her strength of character in my own daughter, who I know will have the resilience to lead a strong and happy life with these wonderful traits. Happy birthday, Sue! We loved celebrating with you xx

I have plenty of "future projects" in my sewing studio all stashed together in piles of gorgeous fabrics that are just waiting for me to create a patchwork quilt. So, what's on the cutting mat this week?? Well, while there are other projects still on the go, I've started playing the long game over here with these cute-as bumble bees and honeycomb... using mini hexagons! Don't expect instant gratification with this project folks. This one is definitely gonna take a while! Follow along with me 🙂

After a number of years working the craft market scene we now supply all our handcrafted works via the Etsy platform or through direct custom orders.
