Stephen Kennedy is an acoustic solo artist based in Melbourne Australia, playing well known rock, pop and Irish Songs and Ballads, mixed with a selection of his original songs depicting his life experiences and those of others. Originally from Donegal Ireland, SLK otherwise known as Stephen Kennedy, is a solo acoustic artist and has been involved in the music industry since his teenage years, per

forming in both original and cover bands around Ireland before moving to Melbourne Australia in 2009. Since his move down under, SLK has been gigging the Irish bar scene of Melbourne and has held many residencies at popular Irish venues such as The Drunken Poet and The Quiet Man. Having met and spoke with a lot of both and migrants / immigrants over the past few years, SLK has been writing and recording material which depicts the tales and stories of Irish diaspora experience.
