Something Electric ⚡ Is Coming to Your City!

Hey legends,
I’m beyond stoked to finally announce this — 💥 Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus) & I are hitting the road in 2026 for a massive national tour — to champion climate action and sustainability!

This isn’t your average rock tour: The Green Electric Tour features two thunderous drummers (yeah, you read that right 🤘), electrifying energy, and one powerful mission — to prove touring can be done sustainably. 🌱

We’ve teamed up with Green Music Australia (GMA) to make it as close to zero-impact as possible. Plus, $3 from every ticket goes directly to GMA, to sustainable touring initiatives, and Seed Mob, who are leading the charge for Indigenous climate justice.

We’re inviting YOU to be part of it — rock up in your best sustainable outfit, carpool, ride, or walk to the gig. Together, we’ll turn live music into a force for good.

Huge thanks to Creative Australia & Harbour Agency for believing in our vision. 💚

Rock and roll that gives back? Damn right. 🌱

⚡ ABOUT THE TOUR
Over 15 dates, from Fremantle to the Gold Coast, Sarah and I will be bringing a powerhouse rock show that fuses our worlds — high-voltage guitar riffs and raw soul meets Sarah’s iconic energy and legendary pipes. Expect reimagined rock bangers, your favs. & brand new collabs that’ll blow the roof off every venue (of course, sustainably 🤣✌🏼).

As Sarah puts it:

“We wanted to do something that wasn’t just loud — but meaningful.
If rock and roll can’t lead the charge for change, what can?”

Couldn’t have said it better myself!

💚 THE GREEN MISSION
This tour is about more than the music. It’s about proving that change is possible even in an industry built on travel, gear and power amps.

We will be documenting our efforts to share with you as we go, as we take on the challenge to tour cleaner — and to show every band, fan, and venue that small shifts can create massive impact.

Expect:
♻️ Recycled merch
🚐 Hybrid + train travel routes
🥗 Meat-free catering
🏨 Eco-certified accommodation
🎸 A documented journey – every win, fail and learning shared along the way.

“We’ve both spent years on the road — it’s the wild west out there when it comes to sustainability. We want to show our fans that there are simple ways to make a big difference, and that every action counts.”
— Dallas

ETTE Media Live 'IT'S A NO FROM ME'

Ever scrolled through the news and thought...really?

Join ETTE MEDIA's Jan Fran and Antoinette Lattouf for their debut live tour, presented by FANE (Jameela Jamil, F1's Guenther Steiner, Priscilla Presley, Nigella Lawson), 'IT'S A NO FROM ME' - an evening of sharp, frank and funny witticism and criticism in a world turning to sh*ticism and announcing fresh off the back of their live debut last month at the Wheeler Centre in Melbourne, which sold out hours after announcing.

“Ette Media is less than six months old, it's incredible to see just how much Australian audiences are enjoying our social media content and our podcast, We Used To Be Journos. We have such a direct relationship with our supporters, who we affectionately call our Etterati, and we can't wait to get on the road to meet them face-to-face," says Antoinette.

Be part of the Etterati as Jan and Antoinette peel back the layers of modern media to show you how (and why!) the sausage is made. There will be room for your hot takes, cold rage and lukewarm feelings about the state of the world.

They'll be joined by experts to dissect the nonsense, comedians to reveal the absurd, and a rotating guest list of musicians and poets to tell you the truth.

So get geared up for a night that will definitely make you laugh, probably make you cry, and hopefully make you think.

The Killers 💥 Imploding The Mirage Tour 2022.

Making their A DAY ON THE GREEN debut in 2022 is one of the biggest live bands in the world – The Killers.

The chart-topping American band is heading to Australia for their Imploding The Mirage Tour 2022, including two big outdoor shows – Peter Lehmann Wines in the Barossa Valley, SA on Saturday 3 December and Mt Duneed Estate in Geelong, VIC on Saturday 10 December, 2022.

Opening Night at Bluesfest 2022 just got BIGGER!

With some very special appearances and collaborations, this will be a one-off ‘Night Of Nights’ that should not be missed!

“Last week's announcement of The Cat Empire’s final show as the original lineup at Bluesfest Byron Bay 2022 was met with such an incredible response… selling thousands of tickets across the festival, including a number of TCE’s fans from across the world coming for this very special moment.

"Today we announce more artists for our very special Opening Night at Bluesfest… Starting with THE HONEYDRIPPER'S DYLAN PARTY… fully curated by Joe Camilleri, and featuring his handpicked special guests who will be many of Bluesfest’s favourite artists. It will be a fully rehearsed, one-of-a-kind tribute to Bob Dylan, now in his 80th year - a memorable performance.

"As Otis Redding said, 'You think we gonna stop now, we’re not gonna stop now...'

"We have classic Australian bands from the late 60s / early 70s who define Progressive Psychedelic music... with a hint of Surf music thrown in. TAMAM SHUD and SPECTRUM are getting out their guitars and drums once again to present the very best music of the period... and on top, the legendary master of the PSYCHEDELIC LIQUID LIGHTSHOW of the 60s & 70s, ELLIS D FOGG is lighting the performances. Maybe it’s not going to be everything you experienced back then (🤓)… but, it’s going to be as close as you can get all these years later!

"We will be presenting the incredible 16-piece choir from Cairns, Marilya, presenting their deeply moving SPINIFEX GUM… Henry Wagons' musical tribute to Warren ZEVON - ACCIDENTALLY LIKE A MARTYR, the BLUE EMPRESS ALL-STARS featuring the who’s who of Australia’s 'Ladies of the Blues'… and a whole lot more! Opening Night at Bluesfest 2022 is already going to be very special… and yet, there’s still more to come.”

Ten ARIA Awards; 6 consecutive #1 albums; sold-out arena tours, and over 50 x platinum accreditations throughout their career so far. Every studio album from 2006's The Hard Road onwards has debuted at number one – they even picked up a number one debut for their Remix album (Drinking From The Sun Walking Under Stars Restrung). They've consistently racked up multi-platinum sales in an era when the industry is seeing sales dwindle across the board. They've also been a consistent and powerful live act throughout Australia, Canada and Europe, and even took hip hop back to its birthplace in the US. The legacy of Hilltop Hoods is undeniable; they helped propel hip hop as a local genre in Australia; we are thrilled to bring them to the Gong in 2022.

Travel restrictions prevented Aotearoa breakthrough pop sensation BENEE from joining us in 2021. We are stoked she can make it for the 2022 edition! Already her tale is one of eye-watering statistics and achievements: close to ten million TikTok videos made to her latest single ‘Supalonely’ featuring Gus Dapperton, hundreds of millions of streaming numbers, the most added song on U.S. Top 40 radio and a collection of platinum records in her home country. Her audience seems endless.

An incredible career with multiple ARIA nominations, multiple ARIA #1's, and a long list of accolades, hip-hop giants Bliss n Eso will bring tracks from their 7th studio album The Sun alive on stage at Y & O! The Sun is the massive follow up to 2017’s critically-acclaimed album Off The Grid, that featured their triple-platinum smash hit single ‘Moments (feat. Gavin James)’, which has amassed 60+ million streams across platforms and received the ARIA Award for Best Music Video. Selling close to half a million records in Australia alone, a reputation for their consistent epic live shows and one of the most loyal fanbases in the country, we can’t wait for them to land at Stuart Park in April.

Flight Facilities were founded in 2008 off the back of the Sydney club scene at its peak. Their first release, Crave You, became the unofficial soundtrack to summer parties. The pair has spent the majority of their careers bucking trends in electronic music, consistently and reliably favouring the timelessness of a well-crafted song. Their 2021 release 'Lights Up' marks the beginning of a new chapter, and much more promised to come this year. We'd say Flight Facilities are back, but they never really went anywhere, and after soundtracking the last ten years for their fans, they're settling in for another decade to come. Flight Facilities forever!

With over 350 million streams worldwide and growing, Brisbane’s The Jungle Giants are fast becoming an unstoppable force. Known for delivering explosive, high-energy live performances. With the release of their #1 ARIA-charting fourth album, Love Signs, The Jungle Giants are channelling hope, love and a dance-pop sensibility into their most irresistible and genre-defying work yet. Driven by optimism, creative freedom and a desire to "go weird, go funny, and not be scared," they are paving the way for their continued metamorphosis.

While we have always loved them as a loose-unit electronic act, the moment Adam and Reuben emerged from behind the decks and channelled their antics into the glorious sh*tstorm of energy that is a Peking Duk live show was the moment Peking Duk became legend. Over recent years, Peking Duk has taken their live show far beyond Australian borders, performing to sold-out crowds in venues and festivals across the US, UK, Asia and Europe. Now with electro-smash 'Nothing To Love About Love' in the arsenal for 2020, the sky ain't no limit. But no matter how high the Duks fly, they’ll always keep one foot in the sticky mosh from whence they came.

After several years of playing the part of "those kids who don't seem to fit in anywhere" with their first two records (2008's We Don't Belong Here & 2010's self-titled), Violent Soho finally announced themselves into the public's consciousness with 2013's Hungry Ghost. But now, with Everything Is A-OK (2020), Mansfield’s favourite sons have drawn a metaphorical line in the sand: five albums into their career, equipped with a renewed self-confidence, they know not to follow a rule book written by other people. Violent Soho are still four blokes from Queensland who just want to shred some riffs, play some shows and make the music they love. Their music. And this is them at their best.

Faker was formed in Sydney in 1996. Their second album, Be the Twilight, was released on 17 November 2007. It has thus far peaked at No. 24 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart. The first single from the album ‘This Heart Attack’ was released on 27 October 2007. The song has peaked at No. 9 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart and also reached No. 5 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2007. In 2013, frontman Nathan Hudson announced the band had broken up. Seven years later, in October 2020, Faker announced on their page that they would be reforming for a late-career comeback… in 2022; we can't wait to reignite our love affair with them at Y & O!

You can deep dive into the rest of our lineup here.

So, what can you expect from the Yours & Owls 2022 April edition? It will be bigger (larger site and more people), better and back at our spiritual home by the sea, Stuart Park, Wollongong.

We kinda fell in love with those autumnal April feels this year, so ya’ll already know what that temp brings! Aint nothin’ like a two weeks before Easter!

We will, of course, be in constant contact with the relevant overlords every step of the way to make sure we deliver you one of the best events to date in the safest way possible.

Live Nation Presents
The Jezabels Prisoner 10 Year Anniversary Tour!

The Jezabels are excited to announce a national tour to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their 2011 Australian Music Prize, ARIA & AIR Award Winning, ARIA #2, iTunes #1, Gold Album Prisoner! For the first time, the band will be playing their most successful record, in its entirety live on stage.

“We couldn't be more excited to be getting back together again for an Australian tour to celebrate the tenth anniversary of our debut album 'Prisoner'. We are pleased to say we'll be playing this baby live in full for the first time. It's been a hell of a decade since it came out, but it's made us all the more grateful for some of the things we took for granted. Like so many bands, playing our records live was always as important, if not more important, than making those records. We can't think of a better way to celebrate 'Prisoner' and say thank you to our fans that have supported us over the years than to announce this tour. We hope you can join us,” says the band.

Prisoner is a panoramic study of tension and emancipation, from the echoing stone cathedral of the title track to the sun-blasted morning of the first single, Endless Summer; from the cloistered atmospherics of the instrumental interlude, Austerlitz, to the chiming and climbing pop of Deep Wide Ocean and the quiet reflecting pool of Peace of Mind.

To mark the occasion, they will be releasing a limited collectors 7inch of a live recording of City Girl, captured at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne in 2011. The 7inch will only be available to ticket buyers to purchase. Head over to livenation.com.au for details.

See You In Wollongong April 2 & 3, 2022.

Firstly we want to thank all of you for sticking with us through the trash and treasure of these past two years; it has been a time!

Bluesfest Artist Hand Picked by Rock Royalty.

Australian independent artist Lachy Doley is kicking some serious goals right now.

Lachy, who has just been announced to play the iconic Bluesfest next easter, is stoked to announce that Roger Waters of Pink Floyd has hand-picked him to play keyboards in his band for Waters’ upcoming ‘This is Not a Drill’ US tour.

Although he’s had very little mainstream or national media coverage in Australia, Lachy Doley’s online fan base is enormous and his high-octane Hammond organ and Clavinet playing is being enjoyed by millions around the world. Roger Waters saw Lachy play on YouTube and put out the call.

Says Lachy,

“It felt like one of those scenes in a movie. The phone rang at about 7 pm when I was just getting ready to put my 5-year-old in the bath. It was a private number, so I didn’t answer it and it went to voice mail. I listened back. ‘Hi, it’s Roger Waters’ manager here. Roger would like to talk to you about possibly joining them on the next tour. Please call me back’ I was like ‘you can’t be serious!’ Anyway, I spoke to Roger and had an awesome chat and laugh and teed up some remote auditions. We were originally meant to tour in 2019 but now it’s all happening in 2022.”

The news of Roger Waters’ tour finally going ahead was just one of a series of wins for Doley this month; his brand-new album ‘Studios 301 Sessions’ debuted at 13 on the ARIA Top 50 albums chart, 1 on the ARIA Jazz and Blues charts, 3 on the ARIA top 20 Australian Albums charts. A couple of tracks having reached 300k plays on YouTube since release.

“I feel so incredibly thrilled that as an independent artist with zero commercial or Triple J radio play that I’ve managed to crack the top 20 in Australia. I really hope it gives some inspiration to other artists without any label backing that it can be done, it all came down to the support of my fans.”

The Studios 301 Sessions album is available from all places that music is available.

The video of the live album is on YouTube: www.youtube.com/Lachydoley

Details of upcoming live shows, including his Bluesfest dates are here: www.lachydoley.com
