⭐️And Just Like That our 2026 Competition Season comes to an end !
What a year it has been for process, development and artistry! We saw this season out with a bang, and as we move into Show season we want to take every memory along with us!

Congratulations to every performer, your heart and work ethic is exemplary, to every parent your contribution and support is undeniably irreplaceable and to the faculty of Flashdance Performing Arts your vision, commitment and passion is unbridled. Everyone of you play an enormous part in what we witnessed on the weekend and what a show you put on !

⭐️It’s nearly here !!! 2027 Victorian State School Spectacular 👏👏
We are beaming with excitement to see this incredible showcase of Victorian talent hit the giant stage at John Cain Arena in just over a week!

7 Flashdancers will hit the stage as part of the Principal Dance Team and we cannot wait to watch you all!!

Let’s raise the roof for these incredible young performers and Chookas to the entire cast of the VSSS 2026, we know it’s going to be spectacular ⭐️

⭐️Giving thanks to the most incredible Senior Cohort - THE GOAT

I have no words to describe these teams! As groups the cohesiveness is unsurpassed, the passion is blinding and individual personal bests are being smashed every week and every performance!

These enormous production pieces truly came to life on the weekend, again to packed theatres these young artists seriously brought the goods! Reflecting on the day I am overwhelmed with pride and gratitude to get to head the most wonderful young people but to also collaborate weekly with some of the very best faculty around, and share all of it with families that fill my heart with joy, you are all a blessing and today Flashdance gives thanks to you all!

Congratulations to all the incredible hardworking talent on the stage at Jump Dance Challenge on the weekend! Melbourne dance is looking incredible and it was an honour to share the stage with you all!

⭐️WOW! What an insane weekend our Junior Competition teams had ! These children are simply unreal!
The year came together on the weekend as these young people worked as the most wonderful teams, and what a show they put on for a packed house of 500 all day, with some truly incredible schools and groups that we shared the stage with!!

Your skills, your technique, your maturity in performance was incredible we are all still riding the high of what you all achieved!! Proud proud proud of not only the most incredible young people of Flashdance Performing Arts, but to the beautiful families we get to share these memories with along the way, building strong cultured young people daring to dream!

To the best faculty, assistants and helpers ever! You are a dream realised and I cannot thank you enough for the stunning family we all work together to create! The magic on the floor weekly, the management of the world’s most precious commodity - children and for your commitment and expertise to your craft and to the children and families of Flashdance - Thank you !

⭐️Oh what a night!! Flashdance 2026 Vocal Showcase was an incredible night of community, incredible singing and performing from the Flashdance Vocal groups, Vocal soloists, Primary Musical Theatre Performance Group & Mini Singing!
Congratulations to every performer, the improvement, the commitment, and the sheer joy of watching you all perform made for the most wonderful night!

A huge congratulations to our incredible Vocal team who have guided, mentored and meticulously pieced together an incredible showcase of skill, repertoire and professionalism! A massive round of applause for our team

⭐️What an incredible 2 weeks we have had and it all starts again today!

Welcome back to term 3, may our crisp mornings bring bright days of joy and progress, may our light shine bright as did the show team who performed at the Beauty Indulgence Gala last Saturday!

What an incredible night had by all, a congratulations to JACKSON RUDGE for producing the show and Fame Agenda Talent And Events for the incredible costuming, an incredible result leaving the audience on such a high!

A fabulous event raising over $200,000.00 for Breast Cancer research! Amazing 🤩

As Beauty Indulgence Celebrates 20 years with a Gala extravaganza, we pay homage to those who we have lost and those fighting Breast Cancer.
