Today is my birthday. A significant one that I was terrified of. But with such good friends and family, I’ve had such a lovely day that I think I can cope with whatever life throws at me for a while yet. Started off the day with aquarobics which was just as well due to all the calories I have consumed today. High tea at the Shangri-La hotel on a perfect Sydney day topped it off. I am now collapsed in a heap. However, with a box full of remaining cakes and lollies and chocolate and gin I think I’m set for awhile.

I have been making some journal covers for the pop-up shop at the Primrose Park open day on 21 June. I was determined only to use materials that I already had and it has been wonderful to recycle some lovely quilted and felted pieces.
