The Hive is an artist run space that operates one night a month by repurposing a real estate office after business hours. Located on the corner of the Crossways Shopping Centre in the Hive Real Estate office in Subiaco, The Hive aims to provide a unique space for emerging contemporary artist to explore new concepts and show works in a setting that is free of curatorial and commercial hassle. ive art space has been established in an effort provide a new space for local Perth emerging artists to show but at the same time bring more contemporary art and awareness of it to the suburb of Subiaco. The Hive art space is a monthly initiative run by Perth artists Bonnie Boogaard and Lance Ward.
