🌏🏆 OUR JUNIOR BURRAS ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS! 🏆🌏

Our junior Burras, Lachlan Warner and Lincoln Garrad, have returned home after representing Australia at the Junior Indoor Cricket World Cup in South Africa—an incredible experience these boys and their families will remember for years to come.

Congratulations to Lincoln (Under 14s) and Lachlan (Under 18s), who both came away as World Champions! 💚💛

Their journeys show why we’re so passionate about junior pathways at Strathpine Sports. From Friday afternoon junior indoor cricket to Junior State Titles, representing Queensland and now winning on the world stage for Australia—we couldn’t be prouder!

Behind these achievements are their families, whose time, encouragement and dedication have helped them every step of the way, alongside the support of our Strathpine Burras community.

Looking for a fun, active sport for your child this Term 4? We've got you covered!

Join us on Monday afternoons for our brand-new Junior Soccer program, designed for players of all skill levels.

🔥 Development Program – From 4:00pm - 5:45pm
👦 Ages 7 years and above

💙 3 tournaments. 24 teams. 11 days. What a campaign for our junior Burras!

Our junior Strathpine Burras took on the INFQ Junior Indoor Netball State Champs during the school holidays, with teams competing from Under 8s through to Under 16s and six teams reaching the semi-finals! 👏

After plenty of hard work, teamwork and determination, we finished our 2026 junior campaign with some exciting recognition. Congratulations to the following Burras:

🏏💙 Junior State Titles Wrap-Up! 💙🏏

Our Junior Strathpine Burras cricketers recently took to the courts at the Junior State Titles, with five teams proudly representing our club!

Congratulations to all our players on their efforts throughout the tournament. It was fantastic to see our young Burras competing and giving it their all!

Final standings:

🥉 10s Development – 3rd
🥈 10s Main – 2nd
🏏 12s – 4th
🏏 14s – 4th
🥉 16s – 3rd

QUEENSLAND BOUND!

Strathpine Sports and the entire Burras family would like to send a massive CONGRATULATIONS to Katelyn Bull, who has been selected to represent Queensland in the Under 16s at the Indoor Nationals in February 2027! 💪🏐

As a club, we’ve had the privilege of watching Katelyn work incredibly hard over the past few years, continuing to develop her game and putting in the effort — and now all that hard work has paid off!

We are incredibly proud to see another Burra earning the opportunity to pull on the Queensland colours.

Congratulations, Katelyn! Enjoy every moment, play hard and show them exactly what you’re made of!
