On Thursday I dropped off at Imagem and Brighton Handmade Collective some mugs, monstera plates and patterned spoon rests. It is the shop’s 3rd birthday so if you are in the area drop in and check out 50 local artisans’ handmade products.

Earlier today, at my pottery club, I was greeted by my finished turtles, cats, dogs, snails and angry birds. They look fantastic!

Saturday August 29th we are turning THREE. That’s right folks we have been here three years ! Quite an achievement if I do say so myself. 😍😁 how have we done it? we have amazing artists, amazing customers and an awesome community. Come and see us with live music from 9 am with Hollow Wood . I dropped off some dog walks on the beach inspired🐕 spoon rests and dishes at Imagem and Brighton Handmade Collective this morning. I have other pieces there as well.

I dropped off lots of snails, cats, angry birds and dogs, plus a monstera plate, at the community kiln. They won’t be green once fired.

Lots of underglazing this week. The hardest parts are the eyes as I don’t have depth perception so putting a thin paintbrush into the little holes or painting small dots is very tricky. The turtles, snails and angry birds will be covered in clear gloss before they get fired.
