McGlade Gallery External and Student Exhibtions The gallery aims to enhance our relationship with the community of the inner west of Sydney.

Australian Catholic University (ACU) opened its doors to the McGlade Gallery at Strathfield in 2001, to coincide with the introduction of the Universitys Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design course. ACU was the prize sponsor of The Blake Prize for Religious Art from 2000-2005, and aims to stage exhibitions that, in a similar way, focus on the spiritual, social and ethical dimensions of artistic prac

tice. We thank our Head of School, Dr Tony Stokes for his continuing support of our work and the gallery at Strathfield.
