...and that's a wrap on The Appleton Ladies Potato Race (sniff! sob!).

What an amazing weekend of raucousness and wholesome goodness. We cannot thank our community enough for your love, support, engagement and encouragement. It was an incredible opportunity for our five fine ladies who donned the stage (I can tell you from an insiders perspective that they have big potato shaped holes in their hearts this week as they attempt to navigate the post-show blues). We had four shows with packed audiences which was incredibly humbling and validating for all our hard work. We were SO proud to be sharing this story that Melanie Tait so expertly articulated.

From our Cast & Crew - Gav, Jeremy, Emma; Lisa, Anna, Rachel, Aynslie and Meg THAK YOU! We have already started dreaming and scheming the next project for Court in the Act Theatre.

Barb is played by Meg Fraser and one of the wonderful qualities they share is that they always see the good in those around them (and they both know their way around a witty metaphor). Rania is busy training for the Potato Race with her friend Nikki and finding a place in the small town of Appleton.

Rania is played by Rachel Patton. (Unlike Rania, Rachel grew up on a wheat farm in the Wimmera and is not partial to running around an oval with a sack of spuds.)

Anna Roberts is playing the over confident reigning Ladies Potato Race' champion, Nikki Armstrong, squeezing in a few runs between rehearsal to ensure good technique.
