This week we’ll be talking to Dr Michael Santucci about measuring SPL exposure from IEMs and preventing hearing damage for those wearing them.

I agree that ministers need to get a grip, but I don’t think the contradiction is the only problem. The problems are firstly that the government has, instead of live entertainment or any of the other arts, chosen to open and support the venues where the public acts the least responsibly....and secondly that they’re going to have spent more than £f**k-knows-how-many-millions on getting us to a point where we have a test and trace system that (whether through mistrust, misuse, or poor design) doesn’t do the job it’s supposed to

Personally I’ll be coming at this as a DiGiCo user, but these talks are totally brand agnostic and I’d love to know how you make yourself at home in a console.

If anyone ever tells you they use graphic we’d because they let you be precise, they’re talking nonsense. The pink trace is an SD9 graphic, the others are SD9 para, Waves Q10, and the tightest is Waves F6. The red trace is Waves C4 doing nothing just because I wanted to see its affect on phase. Yep, nerd
