Ginger Snap Productions was founded in 2017 and has grown into a full-service video and audio production house based in Sydney's inner-west. Finally, we offer a brilliant home studio setup for actors who need to record their auditions all at a reasonable price.

Part 1 of 3 of the epicness of Vivid 2025. This is the second time I have been brought in house at Destination NSW to produce the film and photography elements at Vivid, the first being back in 2023. It's a massive undertaking with tonnes of moving parts, scheduling 5 in house camera teams, multiple external companies, and nearly a dozen photographers over a footprint reaching from Darling Harbour to the Opera House.

This time with the added element of casting and crewing in house, which meant filling nearly 40 roles in 4 business days for me! Whew! Nailed it though, stay tuned for part 3 to see the results!

Couldnt have done it without the wonderful support of the Content and Creative Services team at DNSW, a swathe of amazing contractors infront and behind the camera and the generosity of the landowners, councils and private businesses that all assisted us.

Couple of location snaps here from the epic micro budget feature, Mad Extravagant City that just wrapped filming. I came on board as locations manager to assist the production team finding a whopping 37 locations for an exceptionally tight budget. Huge congrats to and Joe Brown along with the rest of the team who pulled off the incredible.

We were constantly blown away by the generosity of people to let us into their homes and businesses, an incredible experience and one I can't wait to see on the big screen!
