So lucky and grateful to have played a part in the Theatre Works 2018 Season. An incredible team, giving a space, stage and support to young artists like us, to have our voices and art seen and heard. We'll hopefully be back here soon enough. You rock TW!

Resident Roughies Darcy and Sarah had a blast working with two of Deakin Drama's graduating ensembles yesterday. Outnumbered Theatre Company (pictured here) have their original devised work being shown as part of Deakin's Catalyst Festival which is programming 7 original works.

Our resident rough member Darcy has her original solo work being presented as part of the 2018 Deakin University Honours Show. Her piece 'Drawing The line' is a poetic physical theatre work exploring one girls struggle for freedom and respect in the midst of the era.

As well as Darcy's show, your ticket will give you access to 6 other stunning solo performances, film screenings and installations. Do not miss the chance to see these fabulous people's work.

The dust has settled and our fringe hangovers are real 🥂💃🏽 but we couldn't go without thanking everyone who has helped us get this show up and running. It has taken a large village to get us here and we couldn't be more thankful to have had the support and backing from some incredible people, especially our amazing mentor Louise Morris and Rea Dennis. Big love everyone who has supported us and our little dirt pit, you'll be seeing us again soon 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

We have officially closed 😭😭😭 x100 thank you to the beautiful people who came out to support us on our last night. This has been an AMAZING journey and we are super chuffed to have been apart of this year’s Melbourne Fringe 💕A HUGE thanks to Theatre Works for welcoming this Rough lot and our dirt pit. Last but not least to our ever calm stage manager Liz ( ) who joined our team and slotted in as the perfect fit. Her hard work and patience with us is unbelievable and we love her x1000. Do you wanna know what's hard? Shovelling two tonnes of dirt inside a theatre with one sh*tty flat-tired wheelbarrow. Have the Rough Lot done it before? Of course we have! Do we want to do it again? ...hell nup.

We're doing one final call to arms and aid for anyone who knows of a wheelbarrow, a shovel, or a rake that we can beg, borrow, steal for our bump in early tomorrow morning at Theatre Works. We're especially after wheelbarrows but anything of the dirt moving persuasion would help!
