As part of our Lovers, Loners & Losers program we resurrect a famous Astor double pairing, two of our all time favourites, first the Psychogenic fugue state of David Lynch’s LOST HIGHWAY and then, the Lysergic West of Jim Jarmusch’s DEAD MAN. Prior to his death, the late, great Peter Cullen voiced Optimus Prime one final time… that performance is coming to The SuperScreen.

Cullen will be heard as Optimus for the last time in “Optimus Prime: Awakening,” a 12-minute animated short “designed as a love letter to the Transformers community and the late Peter Cullen, the legendary talent and voice of Optimus Prime.”

The short film will play with our anniversary screenings of 1986’s The Transformers: The Movie, which returns to The Astor SuperScreen from September 17 - transform, roll out and book now!
