For those who dont know, last October I was diagnosed with a very large, extremely aggressive breast cancer.
This was life shattering and forever life changing! I had major surgery, then 4 rounds of horrific chemotherapy then 15 rounds of radiation. I am now on hormone blockers for the rest of my life that have some pretty nasty side effects.
Did you know 57 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer EVERYDAY?
I am raising money for research so others may not have to go through my journey.

They said to me"Haven't they come so far?"
My answer is ,"Have they?" I had 6 lymph nodes removed! They were all clear! And now I have lymphoedema for the rest of my life.
The surgeon said she got all the cancer with clear margins BUT the oncologist decided I needed both chemotherapy, flooding my body with poison where I lost all my hair within 1 week of the first infusion. My blonde straight hair is now grey and curly which I hate!
Then came radiation where I had my nose pinched, my arms above my head and had to breathe through a snorkel and hold for 30 seconds. ( very stressful)
Surely in this day and age we can do better!
