FYI… I’m swapping my treatment bed for sub-zero temperatures & voluntarily heading off to freeze in the Victorian High Country for a week ❄️🥶

✨ Brow tattooing comes with so many variables, they are never “one-size-fits-all”! ✨

💡 Pro tip: The best brows come from adapting the technique to your skin, not forcing your skin to adapt to the technique.

This beautiful client started with combo brows (a mix of hair strokes + shading), but during the process it became clear her skin wasn’t holding the hair strokes as well as I’d like.

Rather than push the skin or risk an uneven heal, I made the professional decision to continue with a powder brow finish instead with an ombre look to allow for possible hairstrokes in touch up if these don’t absorb. 💫

In most cases in this situation, those initial hair strokes will likely fade out. If they don’t, that’s okay too — because at the touch-up we’ll know with confidence whether her skin can support feathering safely and without damage.

Why? 👉 Every skin type heals differently. Some skins love delicate hair strokes, while others are far better suited to a soft, shaded powder effect that gives a longer-lasting, more even result.
