We are super proud of all our competitors, and the hard work they’ve all put into their training this year! From private lessons, to technique and conditioning sessions, to online feedback! It’s been a full year 🥰

🩷 Anestesiada - mid year intake🖤

Thinking of joining a ladies Bachata shines team?

We’ve just wrapped our first term and are opening up limited spots for our mid-year intake!

If you’re looking for a friendly, inclusive, and supportive crew to dance with, this is your sign!

What we do:
💃 Drill core technique (spins, turns, weight transfer)
🔥 Build Bachata body movement + styling (yes, contra-body too!)
🎶 Learn a fast, fun, high-energy choreo
🌟 Practice performance energy + stage presence

✨ June 2025 ✨

Half way through the year!

Last month we:
- debuted our team routine Anestesiada, and rhinestones liked crazy getting it done!
- taught, judged and performed at ;
- collaborated with interstate guest as part of a initiative;
- started training another comp routine;
- of course social danced and trained together as a team!

Definitely felt like it was over in a blink of an eye, but we sure did achieve a lot! 😍

🥉3rd place pro/am Cha Cha Cha duet 🥉

Hands up for one of Stepping in Sequins biggest supporters - 🥰

This woman sets herself goals and she works towards them! We had a few set backs last year which delayed the start to our competition training (my bad!), but despite that she learnt mini choreographies to improve her styling (exclusively Johnny Sky songs), took privates and attended socials to improve her following, and learnt her Cha duet in less than 6 weeks 🤩

She took every training session and performance as an opportunity to get better… and only sometimes asked if I was crazy for making things harder 😅

Lauren is already tackling some exciting challenges in 2025, and I love being able to work with her to smash those goals❤️‍🔥
