“Nice Walk to Work” by Anne Armstrong has found its home and honestly, could there be a more fitting collector?
This piece captures the magic of Brisbane’s very identifiable Botanic Gardens entrance; jacaranda blooms raining purple onto the footpath, office workers stealing a quiet moment beneath the canopy, the gentle hum of the city just beginning its day. Even the council e-bikes and transport signs made their way in.
Now in a private collection, this one clearly spoke to someone who knows this scene well!
That's the thing about painting a place people live — the right person always finds it.
