On the beach . Can be heaps of sand flies at times and cows roaming around freely , no facilities so byo everything some spots have makeshift fire pits .

Bring your rods 😍
Plenty of room access via dirt track on.left 30m before the bridge drive in to find your spot.
Ok for larger rigs and enough space for 5 or 6 Vans/RV

Another amazing donation camp!!!
Jericho, outback Qld, is a lovely little town, very much reminded me of a ghost town. Sadly, most of the shops are closed down, with the pub surviving of course 🙂
Down the back of town is a large free camp, right on the river. Great for swimming, having a fish, chillaxing, whatever suits you. Clean amenities (no shower). Firepits provided, including 2 big happy hour communal firepits for the social butterflies. A rope to swing for the adventurous off the tree into water, it even has a ladder to get up there 😁

Greenbushes WA pool donation camp. What an awesome little gem! You can park up here for 3 days. Nestled amongst the bush land a little out of town, it has everything you need (except a dump point). Playground for the kids, little book library, bbqs, picnic tables, drinking water, flushing toilets & a lovely pond/pool that you can even try abit of fishing in. There is also. Lovely wooden boardwalk around the pond.

Space for quite a few vans, we easily got our 21.6ft van in down near the toilet block.

Spent the night and enjoyed a few drinks, at Prairie Hotel. We camped out the back along with several others. The night was a little cold 🥶 but, the beers soon warm you up 🍺

We arrived at Meandarra, Qld with mixed expectations to find a haven of what it is to feel truly welcome and accommodated ‘in country’. For a three night stay overlooking Bigalow Creek, opting for a power and water site, cost us the unprincely sum of $10; truly value for money in what is becoming, in more prosperous locales, an unprecedented and wholly unacceptable exorbitant charge for far less than what these small country towns provide, and of a lesser quality. The onsite facilities, including toilets, hot showers, shaded seating areas, BBQs, dump point and the general upkeep and cleanliness of the amenities and surrounding area is an example of what can be provided for the benefit of this small rural township inviting the inclusion of those of us willing to visit these country oases
