Sound City Melbourne provides professional rehearsal studios and a recording studio located in Spotswood, 15 minutes from the CBD. We pride ourselves on our Excellent Service and Central Location - easy to access from anywhere in the Melbourne Metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs. There are over 20 onsite car parking

spaces available and it is only a 2 minute walk from the railway station. Our location is close to all amenities, with the local shopping strip as well as the Spotswood Hotel nearby. Our rehearsal rooms are fully air-conditioned and well equipped with State of the Art Equipment and are acoustically designed. Sound City Melbourne Live

Sound City Melbourne is an exclusive Live Recording Venue. Our concept is to capture every artist’s dream performance and our Studio was specifically designed with this in mind. No matter if you are a local or touring act we provide the option of buying your performance whether it be your launch, your tour or your reunion gig. We welcome all Producers and all Engineers to use our facilities for specific acts but there is no need for this as we have access to some of the best in the Country. After 15 incredible years, our rehearsal studio is taking a new direction. While we are no longer operating as a space for casual musician bookings, we have shifted our focus to providing full-time creative spaces for artists.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your support over the years. It has been an honour to be part of your journey, hosting live events and watching so many bands grow into mainstage acts. Your talent and passion have made this space what it is and we are so proud to have been a part of your story. Wow it’s been five years since I had a crazy idea to open an institution called for all musicians to be able to come and practice their art. It was the brainchild between myself and my sister to build a clean and welcoming place for established and up and coming musicians to practice their art. Lots of great things have happened since, the birth of The start of SCM Management and now our new venture / . I am forever grateful for all the people that rehearse here every day and night and all current, past employees and partners in business. That if it wasn’t for them nothing would’ve been possible. So many to thank ❤️ Special thanks goes to .clarky and everyone I can’t find tags for 😂 but most of all thank you to the artists for keeping music and my venue alive!!!!! 🔥

Here is your chance to be part of this creative environment. Sound City Melbourne is now offering you, your own Studio inside the Sound City Melbourne complex.

Sound City Melbourne is home to 1and2 Productions, as well as SCM Management and Sound City Melbourne Rehearsal Rooms.

The Studio is located in Spotswood, it has onsite car parking spaces available and it is only a 2 minute walk from the Spotswood Railway Station. Our location is close to all amenities including the local shopping strip and the Spotswood Hotel.

All rooms are soundproof with Air Conditioning and Heating. The outlet currently operates as a Rehearsal Studio and Production Studio. Your Personal Studio could easily be transformed into many things. Music Teaching Studio, Recording Studio, Movie Editing Suite or anything else your creative imagination can create.

Rooms range from 4.0X6M up to 5.5MX5.2M. Prices start from $200 - $250 weekly. Please Pm me for any further information or email us at [email protected]
