Calling all superheroes! 🦸‍♂️

We’re so excited to be part of the Big Family Funanza at the Nerang Showgrounds on Sunday 9 August!

Come along, cheer on our incredible Danceable students as they hit the stage at 11:05am, then pop over and say hello at Stalls 79 & 80. We’d love to meet you, answer your questions and show you what Danceable is all about.

One of my favourite parts of being involved with ImpactInstitute is seeing what happens when our disability community comes together.

Every expo is filled with conversations that change lives. Families finding the right support. Providers collaborating. Participants discovering new opportunities. And so many people walking away knowing they’re not on this journey alone.

The Gold Coast Disability Expo was no exception. 💛

A huge thank you to my Disability Expo family for welcoming me back to deliver keynote talks on disability safety, showcase our incredible Danceable students on stage, and create opportunities for our community to connect in meaningful ways.

It is always such a privilege to be part of these incredible events.

SIX MONTHS!! 🎉💛

Well... that happened a little quicker than expected!

Six months ago I unlocked the doors to Danceable with a dream, a whole lot of passion, a few sleepless nights and absolutely no idea just how much this little community would change my life.

Today, my heart is so incredibly full.

To every participant who has danced with us... thank you. Every smile, every breakthrough, every laugh and every victory has reminded me exactly why Danceable exists.

To our wonderful families, carers and support workers... thank you for trusting us with the people you love most. It is a privilege I never take for granted.

A huge thank you to The Connection Boutique for believing in Danceable from day one, and to Bond University for joining us as we continue to grow and create even more opportunities for our community.

In just six months we've outgrown our original space and are now dancing every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. What started as a dream has become confidence, friendships, belonging... and a family.

Thank you for believing in Danceable, cheering us on and helping prove that disability deserves opportunities filled with joy, dignity and possibility.

Here's to the next six months, bigger dreams and many more lives changed.

School Holidays = More Time to Dance, Move & Thrive! 💛

Danceable is OPEN on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, with sessions available for children, teens and adults of all ages and abilities.

Our team deliver engaging, goal focused sessions that support confidence, communication, emotional regulation, social connection, coordination and independence all through the power of music and movement.

We offer:
💛 1:1 Individual Sessions
💛 2:1 Individual Sessions (two therapists supporting one participant with higher support needs)
💛 1:2 Shared Sessions
💛 Small Group Classes

Whether your goal is building life skills, making friends, increasing confidence or simply having fun in a safe and inclusive environment, we'd love to welcome you.

Today the boys started learning I Feel Good by James Brown... and let's just say they were not expecting my “BABY” to make an appearance 🎤😂

There was laughter, giggles and enough shenanigans to keep us all entertained.

But amongst all the fun, something really important was happening.
💛 Building confidence
💛 Developing communication skills
💛 Practising listening and following instructions
💛 Creating social connections
💛 Expressing emotions through music

That's the thing about capacity building... it doesn't always look like hard work.

Sometimes it looks like singing at the top of your lungs, laughing with your mates and having so much fun you forget you're learning.

And honestly? That's exactly how we like it at Danceable. 💛

I feel good... da na na na na na na... so good, so good! 🎶
