Amanda Bollinger Dance Academy

The Amanda Bollinger Dance Academy is the elite Classical Ballet School on the Gold Coast Australia.

We provide quality training in the Russian Vaganova method to children of all ages. Our students enjoy the professional atmosphere created in our purpose-built studios in Southport. Three studios with sprung-floors, Tarkett vinyl, wall-mounted barres and wall-to-wall mirrors; large dressing room and student kitchen/lounge; study room with wireless internet.

Congratulations to our senior Eisteddfod groups for their outstanding performances at the 2026 Gold Coast Eisteddfod - topping off the competition season by winning the Classical Aggregate Trophy for the 14th year in a row!

Have had a wonderful week examining for the Ballet Conservatoire in Victoria and New South Wales!
Love seeing the great work done by other teachers of this stunning Vaganova-based syllabus 😊
The BC students are all very lucky to be learning the strong fundamentals of classical ballet coupled with the gorgeous upper body, épaulement and artistic nuances that are so prominent in the Vaganova method.
Such an honour for me to be part of the Ballet Conservatoire family 🧡

So very proud of Kadelle who is about to commence her first professional contract with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, after graduating from the prestigious Princess Grace Academy this year 💫🧡

We are so proud of our gorgeous Full-Time student Imogen Stehlik (16), who has just spent a week at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts!
Imogen was awarded this short-term scholarship to WAAPA at the BICD Prix last year.

Character Examinations 2026 🌟
Today our gorgeous Level 3, Level 4 and Excellence students sat their Character Dance exams.
Thank you to our wonderful Ms Ariane for the beautiful style, flair and strength which she develops in our students through the character syllabus. Such an asset for our lucky dancers to have, as they head towards the professional world of classical ballet 💫

Congratulations to our junior Eisteddfod groups for the amazing growth they have shown over the 2026 Eisteddfod season!

At the final two competitions of the year we saw our 8/under and 10/under groups shine - two groups of beautifully poised young dancers, who have bonded together and danced with heart and soul.
Not only have these young performers honed their technique, musicality and artistry through the rehearsal process, but their corps de ballet skills and teamwork was truly remarkable to witness. So proud!! 🧡

Ballet Conservatoire Examinations 2026 🌟
We are so proud of our 57 students who sat their external ballet exams this week!
We were honoured to have the BC founder and director Ms Christine Walsh AM come to examine the students, and are still so excited to be teaching this beautiful Vaganova-based syllabus, 21 years on!
Thank you to all our wonderful students, teachers and parents for the trust, dedication and commitment you all give to enable our young dancers to thrive 🧡

We are so incredibly proud of our stunning Full-Time students Sophie Simonds (15) and Frances Ng (16), who danced in the Sydney Eisteddfod Junior/Senior Ballet Scholarships at the iconic Sydney Opera House last night! 🌟❤️
