The Awards acknowledge and celebrate excellence and achievement in Western Australian community theatre from 2022.

Join WA's community of theatre performers for a night of celebration and entertainment with excerpts from plays and musicals performed throughout the year. Awards presented include Best Play, Best Musical, Best Director, and Best Female and Male performers in a Play and Musical.

SATURDAY 14TH JANUARY 2024:
Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm start. A bar is available to purchase drinks before the ceremony and during the interval.

Hi CBT vocal ensemble. Just a heads up rehearsals for Carols by Candlelight are canceled today as we have a few of members down with flu and a couple more performing at events so let's meet up next week Friday from 6pm to 8.30pm to get the choreography down. We only have 3 rehearsals left so keep practicing and I will definitely see you next Friday. Apologies for the last minute cancelation.

Call me if you need help through the week with your harmonies and I will record them for you 🙌😃

Hi everyone just a reminder we have only 4 or 5 rehearsals left before we perform the flashmob number on the 2nd of December at Carols by Candlelight. Please charge your phones and record your lines at every rehearsal so you can practice them during the week. Also we still need 5 more members to complete the flashmob so if you were apart of 13 musical or know anyone who can sing who would like to join please come on down today for rehearsals. 6.30pm to 8pm every Friday ...

CITY OF CANNING CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY:
The Colourblind Theatre Company (CBT)

Hi everyone, this week we will be finalising singers to represent CBT for a special item for City of Canning's Carols by Candlelight, December 2nd 2023 .

*Rehearsals Start: October 27th, 2023 to December 1st (tomorrow, 6 rehearsals)

From 6.30pm to 8pm (1.5 hours)*

*Plus 2 rehearsals at the venue with the band (date and times to be confirmed)*

*Rehearsal venue: 5 Portes Road Southern River*

*Performance date: December 2nd, 2023*

*Performance venue: Civic Amphitheatre & Gardens, Cannington*

*Performance Time: Between 7pm and 9pm (for sound set up and placing)*

Colourblind Theatre Company is looking for incredible amateur singers ages 13 to 35.
CBT will be performing one item (1 Christmas song) for City of Canning's 'Carols by Candlelight'

We are looking for 12 to 18 experienced or talented amateur singers to take part in this massive Christmas event and be part of a new group that will perform regularly at major events in Perth and eventually around Australia where you can showcase yourself or your performing arts schools/academies or universities.

Singers should be able to hold a simple harmony, be willing to take on different acapella sounds, be willing to learn very simple choreography and have a lot of fun.

The CBT invites, the cast of 13 the Musical, singers’, schools, academies, universities and individual students, parents and adults (13 to 35 years just for this event) to sign up for this opportunity.

All credit will go to you/your school and your teachers for the amazing talent you will bring to the Cbt for any performances, shows, plays or musicals we put on.
CBT would also love to collaborate with your schools directly for future events.
