Open to musicians aged 8-25 years, there are ensemble opportunities for beginner students through to young emerging professionals.

With Symphony Orchestras, String Orchestras, Symphonic Bands, Jazz Orchestras and the Adaptive Music Bridging Program there is an ensemble for every young musician! 🎶

Next week! Join us for Melbourne Youth Orchestra’s performance — Time Unbound 💫⏳

We are thrilled to be presenting the Melbourne premiere of Australian-French composer Katia Beaugeais’ (Katia Beaugeais Composer & Sax) incredible, sparkling Piano Concerto No.1, ‘Bells of Time’. Joined by soloist Stefan Cassomenos (Stefan Cassomenos), this performance represents hope, solidarity, and togetherness in a work that showcases the entire orchestra.

Under the baton of guest conductor Leonard Weiss Leonard Weiss, the program takes us from intimate shimmer to symphonic grandeur!

Kabalevsky – Colas Breugnon Overture
Katia Beaugeais – Piano Concerto No.1 ‘Bells of Time’ (feat. Stefan Cassomenos)
Khachaturian – Lullaby & Lezghinka from Gayane
Prokofiev – Symphony No. 5
