Thorian Framing

It's hard to believe that 41 years have passed since I first stumbled upon a British band that had already made a name for themselves worldwide. That band is none other than , who continue to tour and create music, captivating audiences globally. Back when I was a teenager, I was told that my love for them and their style of music was just a passing phase. Yet here I am, like many other devoted fans, still listening to them and attending their live shows after all these years.

The patches and pins displayed here are just a small portion of my collection dating back to 1980. They have been carefully framed using high-quality faux suede board and museum glass to ensure their preservation. Instead of keeping your memorabilia hidden away and forgotten, why not showcase them and relive those cherished memories? Framing can offer a wonderful opportunity to rediscover those hidden treasures.

A few weeks back, I had the privilege and pleasure of framing a piece for Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal. The artwork was intended to commemorate and celebrate her visit to the in Southampton. The framing was done with a solid oak frame, high-quality multiwindow mount, and anti-glare glass to ensure that the piece was beautifully showcased and well-protected. (it is a shame that the first photo doesn't do the piece justice).

All in all, having the opportunity to contribute, albeit in a small way, to her visit was indeed a rewarding experience. I am deeply grateful to have played a part in this significant event, crafting a frame that not only houses but also enhances the beauty of the artwork presented to Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.

Finally got to frame my second piece of Real State, Privately Public s.5 (pink) by , in a tray frame. Now proudly displayed with its neighbour. The use of a tray frame allowed me to display the entire image without compromising its impact.

I think this is probably, for me, rates as one of the classic scenes from the much loved comedy Only Fools and Horses. What a privilege to have this signed memorabillia print, framed using conservation grade materials and methods.

I had the honour of framing this lovely canvas by .samo yesterday too. I think using a painted black tray frame really makes the whole canvas stand out.

I can not believe it is almost a year since I framed this oil painting (on paper) by McHarg. Afraid I do not know a great amount about the artist but going by the signature style I believe it to be by American Artist Joe McHarg. Unfortunately I just couldn't get the light right for the photo but the last picture is much lighter, albeit unframed. I love the traditional style frame from the Harewood collection by with this piece.
