Last week, our Bowls Grade 7 Pennant team travelled to Tamworth for their tilt at the State Flag.

The Rocks started strongly with a 71–41 win over a very strong Ettalong side before taking on Kingscliff in Round 2. After a slow start and giving away a 20-shot lead, they fought their way back to just one shot behind, but unfortunately Kingscliff held their nerve to finish off the Rocks.

Round 3 saw the Rocks take on Harrington. After being 16 shots down, the team dug deep and turned it around, finishing 20 shots in front to secure a spot in the quarter-finals.

In the quarter-finals, they faced eventual champions St Johns Park, who proved too strong on the day and went on to win the title.

On behalf of the Club, well done, to our men and ladies! 👏 You did us proud and were a pleasure to have representing our Club. Congratulations on a fantastic campaign!
