🎭BRINGING LITERATURE TO LIFE // Our Year 11 and 12 Literature students recently enjoyed an evening at the theatre, attending Theatre iNQ's powerful production of The House of Bernarda Alba.

The all-female cast delivered a haunting and contemporary interpretation of Federico García Lorca’s 90-year-old classic, captivating our young men from start to finish.

A memorable and enriching night, bringing literature vividly to life beyond the classroom.

And that's a wrap on THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA.
A massive thank you to every member of this incredible team. They say it takes a village and in this case, it took a village to create this Village. But as terrifying and tense as it may have been to watch this show, backstage was a picture of teamwork, harmony and collaboration, with everyone putting their heart and soul into every aspect of the show.

So thank you Townsville. We could never have dreamed that you would be so moved by the show. Thank you for your bravery, your comments and your post show debriefs.
