THE DETAILS YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR… ⬇️

Materials & tools used:
- Open end jacket zip
- 0.5mm clear plastic
- 90/14 microtex needle
- Sew-all thread
- Clips
- Fabric for end tabs & binding

Tips for sewing with plastic:
- Use a slightly longer stitch length of 3
- As you sew, keep lifting the plastic so it doesn’t get stuck to your machine. Otherwise, your machine may have trouble feeding the plastic through and skip stitches.
- Pins will leave holes in the plastic, so use clips instead.
- The binding at the ends of the bag helps stop the zip ends from fraying. If you don’t mind this, you can skip the binding.
