A wonderful opening to ‘Visions of the Landscape’. Huge thanks to all who made this day happen including Barbara Maumill for her kind invitation to join her, Tom Ansell and Marion Nelson Art for their collaboration, Tammie Reid for making a magnificent job of the opening speech and my wonderful friends and family for being there for me. The exhibition is beautifully presented thanks to the expertise and diligence of Payam and Angela and I am very grateful for the superb job they have done.

I have a very busy weekend ahead as I attend the opening of our exhibition in Collie this afternoon then home to spend the evening making final preparation for my workshop tomorrow. It is sold out so I will be very busy. I’m so looking forward to meeting a new group of artists to spend creative time with. At least my studio is looking very organised now. I especially love my new paint rack.

I’d love you to come along for the opening of my group exhibition at the Collie Art Gallery. Barbara Maumill, Marion Nelson and Tom Ansell are collaborating with me for ‘Visions of The Landscape’ which will be on display from April 24 until June 7. The opening is on Saturday May 2 at 2.00 pm so if you’re out enjoying the Dardanup Art Spectacular, take a quick detour up the hill to see this too.

After a very hectic few weeks, I have been able to slow down just a little to enjoy my beautiful hometown and the delights of our picturesque south west corner. Easter spent with family is always wonderful and the serenity of Molloy never disappoints. I’ve also discovered a group of lovely ladies who gather to play in the waves on Saturday mornings and we have the very best fun even when there is a cyclone making the skies grey. I have also been spending lots of time at my easel getting ready for my joint exhibition with Barbara Maumill, Marion Nelson and Tom Ansell at the Collie Art Gallery. Lots of fun stuff to keep me busy.
