Since 1970 we have been creating collective experiences that change lives. We present an annual season of the finest theatre from classics to contemporary international and Australian work. The Bille Brown Studio:
Named in honour of the acclaimed Queensland actor and playwright, Bille Brown Studio is an intimate theatre ideally suited for drama, dance, music, film launches, conferences and AGMs.

Seats are retractable and can adapt to cabaret style for more engaging performances or rock the space with bands and a dance floor. Terms of use:

Across a landscape of ice, memory and imagination, Patricia Cornelius’ deeply human work has celebrated courage, companionship and the determination to keep moving forward — no matter the odds.

How do you put Antarctica inside a theatre?

For DO NOT GO GENTLE, Set and Costume Designer Simone Romaniuk took a theatrical, liberal approach, letting character and narrative lead. Look closely and you'll find different palettes of colour, texture and detail, each one placing a character within the world of the play.

"The costume design begins from a historical reference point, with the explorers' layers gradually unravelling to reveal the contemporary, familiar characters who inhabit Scott’s world."
