Every stitch, weave, brushstroke, and handmade piece created in the lead-up carries meaning and connection. It's a reminder that our cultures are living, thriving, and continuing to be shared across generations.

Looking back on past pieces, I can see the stories they hold and the reasons they were created.
Each one reflects where I was in that moment—my thoughts, emotions, experiences, and connection to Culture and Country.
Some were born from joy, some from healing, some from growth, and others from reflection. Together, they create a timeline of my journey, capturing moments that words alone could never fully express. It's a reminder that art is more than what we create—it's a reflection of who we are and where we've been.

A bit of this and a bit of that... ✨
Sometimes the smallest scraps come together to create something beautiful. Using leftover pieces of hand dyed raffia, shells and creativity, this cute little scrap basket was born. 🧺🖤
A reminder that nothing goes to waste when imagination takes over. Every piece has a story, and every basket is one of a kind.
The end result? This adorable scrap basket, handmade with love. ✨

On National Sorry Day, we pause to remember the families torn apart, the children taken, and the lasting pain carried by the Stolen Generations. We honour the strength, resilience, and courage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and acknowledge the deep sorrow and trauma caused by past government policies.
Today is a time for reflection, remembrance, healing, and standing together in truth, respect, and hope for future generations.
