This is the Official page for the Australian Reptile Park. The Australian Reptile Park is a hands-on zoo located in a natural bush setting on the Central Coast of NSW, home to exotic reptiles from around the world and a wide variety of Australian native animals. Enjoy live entertaining shows, themed exhibits and behind the scenes tours. Learn about conservation work undertaken by keepers

including the Tasmanian devil breeding program at Aussie Ark, and our lifesaving snake and spider venom collection work. Only 60 minutes from Sydney or Newcastle, Australian Reptile Park is a centrepiece attraction of the greater Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Port Stephens regions.Look out for park mascot Ploddy the dinosaur visible on the mountain top before the Gosford exit heading north on the M1.

Let's take a moment for our BEAUTIFUL eyelash vipers ✨

They are maybe the most striking animals we have on display and you can see just why they're called an 'eyelash' viper.

Their lashes are actually modified scales above their eyes, helping break up their outline as they sit perfectly still among leaves and branches.

Their fangs are MASSIVE, so much bigger than any of our Australian snakes, and ready to give a deadly venomous bite if you get too close.

If you want to see them yourself, we have 3 on display, including 1 that's actually red and green in colour! 😍

Chilli has welcomed SIX dingo puppies! 😍

We were expecting four, but Chilli had 2 little surprises for us! This is the biggest litter of dingo puppies ever born at the Australian Reptile Park.

All six puppies are healthy, and Chilli is doing an incredible job as a new mum, feeding, cleaning and caring for her tiny pups inside the den.

The puppies will stay with mum and dad for now, but once they grow up, they’ll head off to their forever homes ✨

Now they need names!!
Chilli and Bandit are named after Bluey characters, so we’re asking for name suggestions from the Bluey universe. (We've already used Bluey and Bingo so get creative!) 💙

Hugo LOVES hibiscus flowers! 🌺

As a Galápagos tortoise, Hugo's diet is mostly grasses, leafy greens and vegetables. Hibiscus flowers are the perfect treat for him as they're packed with fibre!

Safe to say Hugo was pretty happy with today's snack! 🐢
