UPDATEā¦. Thank you everyone for the love and messages, it is really heartwarming. We have been extremely lucky and will be welcoming three friends for Cher on Wednesday thanks to the amazing efforts of the RSPCA, they are currently in Wollongong shelter and the team at RSPCA are organising transport for them to Rutherford shelter where we will be collecting them on Wednesday afternoon. Cher is still calling out for Sonny so hopefully this will help to heal her broken heart ###x
To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. Yesterday, our beautiful boy, Sonny, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We have had both him and his sister, Cher, since they were 48 hours old, we bottle fed them day and night, they came to Team Penning with us and have been a huge hit with all the customers at the markets when they came with us. They really did become our ākidsā.
Saying goodbye to him has been devastating for all of us but especially for his sister, Cher, who has never had a day without him. She has been calling out for him constantly and it is absolutely heartbreaking.
We are not and never have been people that āreplaceā animals when we loose them, however, we really need to find a friend/friends for Cher. If anyone has, or knows someone that has a goat or goats that are needing a home, please please let us know, we guarantee a loving forever home where they will spend a life being loved and not ājust a goatā.
