💇‍♀️ Perfect Dance Hair- A great dance class starts before your child even walks through the studio door!
One of the easiest ways to help your dancer feel confident and ready is by making sure their hair is neat, secure and off their face.

A good hairstyle helps teachers clearly see posture and technique while allowing dancers to move safely without hair getting in their eyes.

✨ Our favourite dance hair tips:
✔️ Brush hair smooth before tying it up.
✔️ Use strong hair ties that won't slip.
✔️ Add bobby pins for extra security.
✔️ Finish with a little hairspray or styling gel to keep flyaways under control.
✔️ Always pack a spare hair tie and a few bobby pins in your dance bag!

Taking just a few extra minutes before class helps your dancer stay comfortable and focused on learning, not fixing their hair!

💜🧡 IN DANCE WE UNITE

What an incredible day of dance, friendship, connection and studio spirit! 💜
We were so honoured and grateful to be invited to take part in - IN DANCE WE UNITE - a very special event created to bring dancers and studios together, not through competition, but through a shared love of dance.

The day was all about uniting rather than competing - making new friends, supporting one another, working as a team and celebrating everything we love about being part of the dance community, while coming together to raise much needed funds for charity ⭐️

Our dancers enjoyed an amazing day filled with workshops, games, discos and plenty of fun before all of the participating studios came together for a spectacular evening concert. It was so wonderful to see so many supportive studios cheering each other on and sharing the stage simply for the joy of performing.
We could not have been prouder of our In-Motion Dancers. Their dedication, teamwork and studio spirit throughout the entire day were beautiful to see and watching them take the stage that evening made us incredibly proud.
To make an already special day even more memorable, we were extremely honoured to receive TWO awards during the evening 🏆

✨EXCELLENCE IN PERFORMERS SKILL - Awarded in recognition of exceptional technical skill, precision and control in dance
✨ COSTUME AWARD - Honouring the creativity, cohesion and attention to detail in lit costuming.

A huge thank you to the organisers of In Dance We Unite for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful initiative and to all the studios, teachers, dancers and families who made the day so supportive and memorable.
Our kids had the best time, made wonderful memories and reminded us exactly why we love being part of this incredible dance community.

Dance is about so much more than learning steps.

Every class helps children build confidence, believe in themselves, and celebrate their own achievements both in and out of the studio.

Watching a child grow from shy and uncertain to smiling confidently on stage is one of the greatest rewards of dance.

Our beautiful Pre-Primary Ballet classes introduce young dancers to the foundations of classical ballet in a fun, encouraging environment.

Students develop posture, coordination, musicality, flexibility and confidence while learning the beautiful technique of ballet.

Whether your child dreams of becoming a ballerina or simply loves to dance, this is the perfect place to begin.

Some happy snaps from our day DANCE ⭐️ We are so proud of each and every student that competed. Some amazing results in our solos and duos for our Junior students and we cannot wait to see our Seniors take the floor in a few weeks. 💃🏻🪩

We also had so many dancers take the floor for the very first time including 2 of our amazing 4/u students who both placed receiving their very first medals 🥹 We are so proud of all our first timers, it is such an exciting time for you all!

We are so pleased to be able to offer all these opportunities to our students and we have the best day cheering each other on. ⭐️

There's nothing more rewarding than hearing how dance has made a positive impact on a child's life and their family.

Every great dance class starts with a well-packed dance bag! 🩰✨

Making sure your child has everything they need helps them feel confident, prepared and ready to enjoy every minute of class.

Here's our dance bag checklist:
✔️ Correct dance shoes
✔️ Water bottle
✔️ Hair ties, pins & brush
✔️ Spare tights or socks (if needed)
✔️ A healthy snack for after class
✔️ A big smile and a positive attitude! 💜

Taking just a few minutes to pack your dance bag the night before can make the morning routine much less stressful and help your child arrive feeling organised and excited.

At In-Motion Danceworks, we believe the little things make a big difference because confident dancers are prepared dancers.

Today we're celebrating someone who brings so much passion, kindness, and positivity to our In-Motion Danceworks family.

Thank you for inspiring our dancers, sharing your love of dance, and encouraging every student to believe in themselves. Your patience, dedication, and beautiful energy make such a difference, both in and out of the studio.

We are so grateful to have you as part of our team, and we hope your birthday is filled with love, laughter, and all the happiness you deserve.

Here's to another amazing year of creating memories, inspiring young dancers, and continuing to shine both on and off the stage.
