A very special piece I recently created for my cousin Kelsey Attwood for her university graduation.

The turtle symbolises her late grandmother, my dear Aunty, whose favourite animal was the turtle. Aunty Kath spent her life making contributions to the education system and pathed the way for future generations to grow and prosper.

Congratulations little cuz! We are all very proud!

A NAIDOC special.

The theme for NAIDOC 2021 is ‘Heal Country’.

We will be entering this piece into the NAIDOC poster competition.

I’d like to thank my sister Elizabeth for her help with this piece. We hope you like it!

The painting represents the many colours of our land and waters on various different countries across Australia. The colours also represent major social and cultural elements; land, water, life, justice and health.

This piece shows how we all have a hand to play to uphold recognising, protecting and maintaining our land and waters, sacred sites and cultural heritage.

The tree of life represents the interconnected ness of our ancestors and country, their resilience and belonging.

Heal our nation, heal country.
