LOOK WHO'S PART OF OUR CARNIVAL DAY LINE-UP!! 📣
It's Tuck Shop Ladies!! 😍 Join us on Sat 7 Nov in Shepparton!! 🏳️‍🌈
Armed with a pair of ukuleles and razor-sharp wit, Sam Lohs and Rosie Burgess turn life’s everyday absurdities into hilarious, harmonious songs. After multiple sold-out seasons at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and two People’s Choice Award nominations at the Australian Folk Music Awards, The Tuck Shop Ladies have firmly cemented their place as crowd favourites.
Their live show is an uplifting ride through spontaneity and connection — part concert, part confessional, and entirely joyful. With heart and hilarity, The Tuck Shop Ladies remind you that life really does sound better in harmony.
Born from their shared roots in the Australian folk scene (Fruit, The Rosie Burgess Trio), The Tuck Shop Ladies have carved out a niche all their own — blending finely crafted songs, exceptional harmonies, and a comedic chemistry that’s impossible to fake. Expect laughter. Expect harmonies. Expect to leave feeling like you want to run away with the band.

Host your own event for OUTintheOPEN 2026! 🧡

Umbrella events offer you the opportunity to grow your idea into an event that’s part of our festival. Alongside the events we curate and lead (our opening night event, Carnival Day, community brunch and many more) we are looking for community groups, organisations, performers, venues, or artists keen to bring an event to life over the 15 days of the festival.

This year’s theme is 'Homegrown and Glowing' and we'd love to see events that bring our theme to life!

This theme honours our local roots and the community that has grown, nurtured, and sustained Pride in the Goulburn Valley. From small beginnings to bold celebrations, 2026 shines a light on who we are, how far we’ve come, and the bright future ahead. Together we stand proud, deeply homegrown and glowing brighter than ever.
