🌊☀️ This custom sticker design for the Richmond Gaol Historic Site has sparked a number of enquires from information centres and Tassie businesses asking if they can get their own design done showcasing their special part of Tassie.

🌊☀️ I was thrilled to be commissioned by the Richmond Gaol Historic Site to create a modern sticker for their giftshop.

✨️ The brief was to celebrate the heritage of Richmond Gaol through a design that felt light, fresh and contemporary.

🌿 The illustration features a 192 year old almond tree, and the year 1825 represented on the historic stonework. The result is a beautiful, modern keepsake that visitors can take home as a lasting reminder of their visit to one of Tasmania's most historic sites.

There was not one quiet day in the studio this month....

✨️ New Stockist & custom sticker design - Richmond Gaol Historic Site

✨️ New stockist - Sheffield Visitor Information Centre.

✨️ New stockists enquired to stock products in the new financial year....I'm pretty excited about this.

✨️ Celebrated 2 years in business!

✨️ 2x House Portraits completed & delivered.

✨️ Interview on ABC Radio! My second interview with ABC, I loved chatting about drawing our national parks, towns and other iconic places.

✨️ 500+ new followers accross instagram and Facebook. I really wanted to put some effort into growth this month. Growth on socials is hard, but this biz only works if people know I exist. I'll always appreciate people engaging with and sharing my art with friends.

✨️ Everyone let me know their best Tassie places for me to draw! My carosel reached over 24k Tasmanians and the list is now pages long!

✨️ Custom illustration orders rolled in & booked out until September! Don't forget, the Island Home studio closes end November each year, then its pens down, and I'm all beach and sunshine until the new year.

✨️ Quoted 3 other custom jobs, so far, ghosted by 2. I try not to let this bother me, sometimes they come back around. Life's busy, I get it.

✨️ National Park Products made some big progress this month with proofs approved and printing underway.

✨️ Hit 100 orders through my website!!! Feels like a huge milestone. I invoice wholesale orders outside of my website, and custom jobs, so I'm not sure of how many orders in total over the past 2 years, but it still feels huge!

✨️ My husband ran Run Narawntapu, a casual 25km (loves a run), I ran my first 7km non stop, little Z had her first fun run race and loved it. We're a running family now 😂

🌊☀️ Swimming off to the Sheffield Visitor Information Centre this week are a bunch of my Tasmanian Sea Life Colouring Books.

✨️ I'm very excited to see my self published book sitting among all the beautiful Tassie treasures, in the 'Town of Murals'.

🪸 Each page pairs a unique creature with interesting facts, making it the perfect mix of creativity and discovery. This book is all about slowing down, having fun, and sparking gentle conversations about the world beneath the waves, and our responsibility to protect it.
