Hello!
It's nearly Selby Folk Club time again!
What a year of amazing music we've had so far! And tonight we'll be sending Menzies Creek Hall off in style!!

Tonight we have a jam packed evening of music lined up for you!
Possum will kick us off at 8pm, with her unique style of hyperlocal folk.
Wood Duck Music are up next, with their old but new take on traditional Celtic music.
And Rufous Whistler will round out the evening with their honest, funny and deeply human alt-country / folk.

Join us to farewell Menzies Creek Hall in style, with three amazing acts!!

We will kick off the night with Possum: A modern take on Australian songs from the 60s folk revival, her music beautifully crafts humour and vulnerability to thread narratives through time and place.

Wood Duck Music will follow: Australian four-piece Wood Duck bring their distinctive voice and love of traditional music to deliver spirited tunes and a richly textured sound.

With Rufous Whistler finishing off the night:
With international airplay, a gripping live show, and a strong grassroots fan base from their love of being on the road, the band’s blend of folk and alt-country is resonating deeply with audiences.

Offering a uniquely modern Australian sound rooted within the folk traditions of the 60’s era, Benoit provokes his audience to consider another perspective and think deeply about the everyday things of life.

The creative partnership of Michelle Chandler, Della Harris, Sue Carr Amico and Sophie Louise
(Agostinello) represents a powerhouse of Australian independent music, blending decades of individual success into a seamless acoustic group.

Michelle Chandler has built an international reputation for her evocative song writing, & pure, soulful vocals and gifted guitar playing. Della Harris’s ability to connect with audiences through honest, relatable stories has made her a staple of the Australian country music circuit. Sue Carr Amico plays her piano accordion with depth and feeling to provide a sensitive layer that leaves ample space for instrumentation and vocals. June Club Night Reminder ✨

It's nearly Selby Folk Club time!
We've been busy booking amazing acts for 2026 and our next club night is just around the corner...

June will bring Enda Kenny Music and Grand Baxter [Solo] to The Hills for a night of traditional folk music with two gifted story tellers.
Enda has come off his biggest year since the 90's in 2025 and is busy playing festivals and shows all around Australia this year too!
Grand Baxter has also been busy playing festivals and shows all over the place and is excited to be returning to SFC.

Our June Club Night is one not to be missed!!
