🌈✨ Where the Rainbow Fades ✨🌈

I’m excited to share one of my pieces from the Journey Through My Mirror exhibition.

Where the Rainbow Fades represents how the colourful world I once saw has changed as my vision has gradually faded.

The piece begins with a bright world filled with a rainbow, flowers, grass and a tree. As you move through the layers, the colours become paler and the details begin to disappear. Eventually, the rainbow and all its colour fade away into shades of grey and darkness.

The mirror at the centre invites you to look through my mirror and experience a little of that journey for yourself.

🌙✨ Beyond the Last Star ✨🌙

I’m excited to share one of my pieces from the Journey Through My Mirror exhibition.

Beyond the Last Star represents how the night sky has changed for me over time. I used to be able to see the moon, stars and details of the night sky, but as my vision has changed, those details have gradually faded away. The layers of the piece move from a detailed starry sky, through fewer and fewer details, until eventually there is only darkness.

If you haven’t visited the exhibition yet, there’s still time! Come along and see Beyond the Last Star in person, as well as all the other amazing artworks on display.

Sorry it’s been a little quiet around here lately! I’ve been busy moving house and setting up my new craft space, but I’m almost ready to get back to creating.
