Conformity meets punk attitude. Inspired by cult classic They Live and the constraints girls and women face everyday. We must DisOBEY be aware of how we curate every action be conscious of our own choices. Are they our choices or what we are being conditioned to do?

She has evolved from idea to twiggy reality. A sculpture from a type of long bamboo like grass, jasmine off cuts and other garden waste. Built over a stump with a chicken wire armature. She makes a beaut lizard habitat. 😁

One of those paintings waiting for the final touch, cathartic going through the almost done paintings and finishing what I started. A time to paint finally no longer on hold, result a lounge full of paintings. 😁

The saga of the two old men continues.
It has been close to a year working on this, time is the enemy, not just time but the need to be alone to work in a full house during covid lockdown hasn't helped. Copy of Rembrandt's two old men disputing, one of my all time favourite paintings.
