One of the best things about being a small business owner is the feeling when people seek you out and purchase something you have produced. The appreciation they have for the fish I breed makes the work I put in worthwhile.
A customer sent me this video of a fish they took home recently.
It's great to see how happy and settled they look in their new home.

16 weeks old and their colours are really starting to show now.
Still plenty of growing to do and their colours will get even better.

I haven't bred Zebra Danios for many years, but I've really enjoyed doing it again.
These are around 7 weeks old, and full of energy as you can see. Enjoying a feed of brine shrimp.

6 week old fry from the parents in the previous video.
Lots of variety in colours as I had planned, and plenty with iridescence already.

These two seem keen. 😁
Hopefully, a successful spawn will follow.

This is why I always check the bucket when I do a water change.
3 baby Betta macrostoma now safely in a grow out tank.

Not everything I keep is a potential breeding project. Sometimes you have to have something just because 😆😆
This is not it's permanent tank, just in quarantine for a while.

Extension to the fish room almost completed. Over 1500lt more water added to the existing breeding set-up.

Betta macrostoma.
The males from July have matured into stunning adults, and I'm now in the process of introducing them to the unrelated females.
Hopefully some successful breeding and fry.😃😃

As well as Bettas and other labyrinth fish, I do like my Angel fish.
Here are a pair of Pinoy blue spawning on a small internal filter. I've now turned it off, so hopefully they will tend the eggs and fry with no problems.
