아이에게 미술활동이 주는 성취감이란.

미술은 저에게도 아이에게도, 단순히 그림을 그리는 행위 그 이상인 것 같아요.
하얀 캔버스를 마주하고 거침없이 색을 칠할 때, 말로 다 못 한 자기만의 에너지를 쏟아냅니다. 정답이 없는 바탕 위에서 이 색, 저 색 고민하며 집중하는 진지한 뒷모습을 보고 있으면, 그 안에서 스스로 마음을 다스리는 힘이 자라나고 있음을 느껴요.

부쩍 짜증이 많아진 미운 네 살의 끝자락. 조금 더 부지런히 아이의 마음을 이해하고 받아주리라 다짐해봅니다.

예술이라는게 대단한 게 아니라, 자기가 표현하고 싶은것을 두려움 없이 그려내고 그 결과물을 보며 저렇게 환하게 웃을 수 있다면. 그 미소를 지켜내며 응원해 주는게 또 제 역할이겠죠.

이렇게 또 아이는 엄마를 키워냅니다☺️

Slowly getting my little backyard studio ready.

저는 요즘 천천히, 때로는 조급한 마음으로
작은 뒷마당 스튜디오를 정성껏 준비하고 있어요.
누가 등 떠민 것도 아닌데, 어서 함께 그림 그릴 날이 손꼽아 기다려져서요 😉

[Maternity Leave Announcement]
