A recycled bottle.
Some aluminium foil.
A little wire.
A roll of masking tape.
Not exactly the ingredients you'd expect for a sculpture full of personality and character!
One of the things I love most about teaching sculpture is watching people discover what's possible when they begin to see everyday materials differently.
In The Dogs We Love, we'll start with simple recycled materials and gradually transform them into expressive dog sculptures full of warmth, texture, and charm.
No sculpting experience is required.
I'll guide you step-by-step through the entire process, showing you how to build form, create character, add texture, and bring your sculpture to life using Powertex Art Supplies and a few surprisingly humble materials.
What begins as a recycled bottle may just become a sculpture full of personality, character, and a celebration of the dogs we love. 🐾❤️
